SCARF SWAP 2026

Following its successful launch in 2024, the popular MATRIX Scarf Swap is now entering its second round. In response to your numerous positive comments, we are pleased to invite you to the next event on June 4, 2026.

The idea behind the scarf exchange is to put your MATRIX scarves – which no longer fit or are rarely worn – back into circulation. Perhaps your colour preferences have changed, or your favourite piece no longer matches your wardrobe? MATRIX scarves stand for quality and durability – far too good to remain unworn in the closet. With the scarf exchange, the scarves find new owners and thus find their way back into everyday life.

We are already looking forward to an impressive variety of scarves, ranging from MATRIX’s early days around 1996 to scarves from the current collection.

How it works:
Bring any MATRIX scarves that you would like to swap and that are in perfect condition to our shop. We will wash and iron them. You will then receive an invitation to an event where all the scarves offered for exchange will be displayed. Over a glass of wine, you can negotiate exchanges directly with the owners of the other scarves. Exchanges are made without payment. Any scarves that you did not swap can simply be taken back home with you – washed and ironed.

Until May 23, 2026:
Starting now and through this date, we will be accepting your exchange scarves at the MATRIX Shop.

May 30 until June 4, 2026:
The exchange scarves will be on display at the MATRIX Shop.

June 4, 2026, 6–8 p.m.:
MATRIX Scarf Exchange at the MATRIX Shop.
Please save the date. We look forward to bringing you together with many other customers eager to exchange scarves.

GINSTER IN NEW COLOURWAYS

This design is inspired by the broom bush. The rigid stripe pattern is overlaid by an amorphous tendril, creating a structure with a striking visual effect. Now available in-store and online.

WOODEN BOX

A small wooden box with space for two bottles of wine, made in Switzerland by people with disabilities, featuring a printed sliding lid from the MATRIX screen-printing workshop.

Φ [fi:]

Since antiquity, the golden ratio has been used in the arts, in architecture, and in fashion due to its aesthetically pleasing nature. This principle of proportions describes a ratio that is perceived as particularly harmonious to the human eye and in mathematics, it is represented by the Greek letter Φ [fi:].

The new MATRIX Foulard Collection 2025/26 is inspired by the golden ratio and other mathematical number sequences. As such, we have drawn inspiration from the fields of science, nature, and design history to bring you the present iteration of foulards and scarves, screen-printed on silk and wool.
