NEW ARRIVALS IN STAGES

For many years, MATRIX has been developing an annual themed scarf collection, which we have traditionally presented at the start of autumn as part of a major launch. With our new «Root» collection, we are breaking with this tradition for the first time. From now on, we will be adding new scarves and foulards to our shop on an ongoing basis, meaning the collection will be constantly updated and will grow with the changing seasons. By rolling out the collection in stages, we aim to give each individual product more space, showcase its creation process and continually surprise you, our valued customers, with new items in the MATRIX shop. We look forward to inviting you to various events centred around our themed collections in the future; for example, as part of the «Root» collection, we are planning a ceramics exhibition featuring horseradish and sugar beet, along with a culinary experiment with roots.

MATRIX AND THE MACHINE

For thirty years, Fabia has been hand-printing all her scarves, trays and stationery items at her screen-printing workshop in Basel’s Bachletten district. Her hand-screen-printing workshop has now been modernised. A piece of equipment developed specifically for MATRIX now assists Fabia with production. It was designed and built by the Basel-based mechanical engineer Kornel Vogt. We would be delighted to show you this newest innovation and invite you to a tour of the workshop.
